You must first gain provisional registration with the College to apply to take the exam.
To take the exam you must complete the following steps:
- Once you have obtained Provisional Registration, the exam application will be available in your member profile.
- Complete and submit the entire application, including fees. An application is considered incomplete and will not be processed if the fee is not submitted.
- After the application has been submitted, it will be processed within 10 days and you will receive a confirmation email with exam details. If you do not have the confirmation email within 10 days, please check your junk folders.

Applications are accepted until the exam date is full or until 4 pm on the application deadline date. Those who apply once the exam is full or after the application deadline will be deferred to the next available session.
There is limited space at each session/date. Applicants are encouraged to submit their application as soon as possible to secure their preferred date.
Can I apply for an initial exam without applying for provisional registration?
No, to be eligible for an exam, all applicants must first gain provisional registration with the College. Please review: About Registration.
