The Provincial Registration Examination is the way the College assesses applicants who are seeking registration in the province. This includes Emergency Medical Responder (EMR), Primary Care Paramedic (PCP) and Advanced Care Paramedic (ACP) levels of training. The exam tests candidates for entry to practice competencies for the profession of Paramedicine. Candidates must demonstrate the knowledge and skills to practice within the competencies, at their discipline level, in an independent, safe, effective, efficient, professional and ethical manner.

To assist with the practical component of the examination, the College requires, active registered members at all levels to lend their expertise and skills; and serve as Examiner Faculty members.
