Reinstatement is for former members who have let their practice permits lapse or have had their practice permit cancelled.

Reinstatement applies if the former member is deemed to have met currency in practice requirements.

To determine currency in practice the Registrar reviews:

  • if the paramedicine education program was completed within the previous year,
  • if the former member was employed in paramedicine within the last two years or
  • if the former member was registered with the College within the last 12 months.

If none of these requirements are met, the Registrar may request the former member complete a refresher or upgrading program, such as BLS or ALS certification, ITLS or NPR certification before approving reinstatement.

To complete the reinstatement process, all other College registration requirements including providing proof of valid professional liability insurance and submitting payment of fees must be met.

To apply for reinstatement, complete the registration application located in the member portal. (Please do not create a new account. Use the forgot password function if you do not recall your access details).

Once the application is reviewed, the former member will receive further information and directions from the College’s registration department. Questions can be sent to
