Many liability insurance policies expire at the end of the calendar year. As you are required by legislation to have active insurance to legally practice, the College’s system is set up to automatically suspend anyone who does not have valid liability insurance details on their profile.

Please take a few minutes to log into the portal and make sure your liability insurance information is up-to-date. We do not receive this information from your provider, so you do need to make sure you log in and update our own policy details. You will have received a 30-day notice earlier this month is your insurance is set to expire on December 31, 2020, and you will receive subsequent notices as the expiry date gets closer.

Also, just a reminder that the College will be closed from noon on December 24 to 8 am on January 4 for the holiday season. If your liability insurance expires on December 31 and you have not entered your new policy expiry date, your permit will be suspended. You cannot legally work if your practice permit is suspended. To remove the suspension, you will have to log into your account and add your updated policy details.

If you have any questions about updating your policy details or need any assistance, please call the office or email
