The College has approved additional training to enable regulated members to remove practice conditions and to achieve endorsements on their practice permit.

Below is a list of currently approved additional training opportunities.

The following are prohibitive conditions which may appear on your professional record if you are not authorized to perform them. There is additional approved training available for each activity which once completed and documentation submitted to the College, will be removed from your professional record.

43(1)(g) – to administer anesthetic gases for the purpose of administering nitrous oxide with oxygen

43(2)(b) (i) – to administer anything by an invasive procedure on body tissue or to perform surgical or other invasive procedures on body tissue below the dermis or the mucous membrane for the purpose of; to administer anything by an invasive procedure on body tissue or to perform surgical or other invasive procedures on body tissue below the dermis or the mucous membrane for the purpose of providing intravenous therapy

43(2)(b) (ii) – providing an intraosseous infusion

43(2)(c)(iii.i) – assessing core temperature

43(2)(f)(ii) – to administer parenteral nutrition

43(3)(g) – to administer blood or blood products.

FMIUP – Facilitation and maintenance of intubation using paralytic agents (RSI)

NALADMIM – IM Naloxone Administration

MAUV – Medication administration via umbilical vein

Submit proof of completion by completing the Practice Training Document Submission form (found on the home page of your member portal) and submit in your member portal.

Once the College has reviewed and accepted the certificates of completion, you may have endorsements added or conditions removed from your practice permit.
