The Canadian Organization of Paramedic Regulators (COPR) is pleased to announce the launch of the new centralized application process for the COPR Entry to Practice examination at all designation levels. The portal opens on November 22, 2021, for the registration of the February 2022 examination. This process will replace the previous application that took place through provincial regulators. Applicants for all practice levels (EMR, PCP, ACP) will submit an examination application through the COPR Applicant Portal located at www.copr.ca.

To be eligible to write the COPR Entry to Practice Examination, candidates must complete a training program recognized by their provincial regulator. Proof of training program completion is required and should be provided at the time of application. If a completion certificate or transcript is unavailable, it can be submitted after the application deadline; however, must be received by COPR at least 14 calendar days prior to the Examination date. Failure to complete this step will result in cancellation of an examination application
