The College is committed to communicating important updates with members as they become available. In October 2020, we announced that the Pulse format was changing to allow for more timely updates of information on the College website followed by a monthly newsletter recapping the past month’s information on the 15th of the month (or the next business day). Included in the Pulse are updates to membership requirements, information about the profession, updates from Council, changes in legislation and the status of the College’s operational activities (yes, including finances).

The summer generally tends to be a slower news time and the College will continue sharing updates online in a timely manner for those that want to stay informed. However, the monthly newsletter will be shifting to bi-monthly for the summer. The College will also take this opportunity to change the email distribution date of the Pulse from the 15th of the month to the last business day of the month. This means that the July and August updates will be sent out on August 31st and moving forward all emailed Pulse newsletters will be sent on the last business day of the month. We hope this change will help eliminate any confusion there may have been about the Pulse distribution date and provide a better recap of the past month’s activities/updates.

As always, we are continually working to improve the way the College communicates with members, but also with our stakeholders and Albertans. If you have any feedback or suggestions, please feel free to email us at communications@ABparamedics.com
