Voting for this year’s Council elections will open on August 1 and close on August 12 at 11:59 pm.

As keeping with previous years, voting will only be available online. The online vote will be fully managed by a third-party provider, Simply Voting. All members who are eligible to vote will receive an email from Simply Voting with instructions on how to cast their vote.

Please make sure your email address on your profile in the member portal is up to date and unique to you. Shared email addresses means someone else may have access to your voting information, so please make sure you have your own address listed on your profile by July 1. The College also suggests using personal emails instead of work emails, as company servers have higher levels of security which increases the chance of the email from Simply Voting being blocked.

Voter eligibility is outlined in the College’s Bylaws (2.4.3 Voter eligibility) as:

Voters must be regulated members, in good standing, on the general or provisional register at least 30 days prior to the election.
