Employer Portal Updates

In 2022, we transitioned to our new member management database, Alinity. This platform includes the Employer Directory, which allows employers to securely view the registration status of their employees at any time. To further support employers, the College has recently introduced an export feature.

For employers, the directory functions similarly to the Verify a Member registry. However, it provides the ability to log into the system and view a customized list that includes only their employees. If a regulated member adds an employer to their profile, that member will automatically appear in the employer’s directory. Please note that the accuracy of our records depends on the information provided by members.

The Employer Directory contains the same details available in the public Verify a Member tool. These details include:

  • Name and registration number
    • Current practice permit expiry date
    • Register type, such as general or provisional
    • Designation, including EMR, PCP or ACP
    • Any conditions
    • Any endorsements
    • Any discipline information

When logged into Alinity, employers can access this information by selecting the My Employees tab from the menu on the left side of the screen. Here they can select and view their employees. The export feature, identified by a green arrow, allows employers to download employee data into an Excel spreadsheet.

The Renewal section enables employers to see if their employees have renewed during the renewal period of August 1 to September 30. This feature supports proactive planning and compliance tracking within your organization.

Please note that if a regulated member does not report their employment with your organization, they will not appear in your Employer Directory. The accuracy of the directory depends entirely on the information provided by members. As outlined in section 36 of the Paramedics Profession Regulation (PPR), regulated members are required to report their place of employment.

We encourage all members to keep their employment details current. Updates can be made at any time throughout the year using the profile update form, which is quick and easy to complete.
