As you are aware, in 2019 we began a full review of the College’s Code of Ethics for all regulated members.

The process of review included several consultations with staff, Council and members throughout the first half of 2019. In July we were able to send our draft to the Minister of Health for government and stakeholder consultation, which is required under the Health Professions Act. We received feedback in October and are now pleased to release the College’s revised Code of Ethics that recently received Council’s final approval at their meeting last week.

The Code of Ethics lives on the College’s website and is enforceable for all regulated members of the College. If you have not already done so, please familiarize yourself with this new Code of Ethics, which better explains regulated members’ responsibility to patients, the public, themselves and the profession as a whole.
