As social media and its impact on our day-to-day lives continues to evolve, the best practices for representing oneself online must evolve with it. The College has prepared the Social Media Guidelines for Paramedic Practitioners to better provide guidance on using social media professionally.
While this resource does reference both the current Standards of Practice and Code of Ethics, it is a set of guidelines, not an official Standard of Practice. Nonetheless, the College encourages all members to read and reference these guidelines anytime they would like recommendations or clarification on how best to represent themselves and this profession online.
