The Alberta College of Paramedics is excited to announce completion of phase one which includes the new member portal. In this portal you will find an updated look and feel to the platform, a more mobile-friendly system, and a simplified process for registration and adding continuing competence credits.

How to log-in for the first time

The Alinity platform requires each member or applicant record to be associated with a unique and valid email address. The email address used for the new portal is the one this email was sent to.

  1. Follow this link to go to the new member portal login page abpm.alinityapp.com/client/
  2. Select the Forgot your password link at the bottom of the screen
  3. Enter in the email address for your account and the verification code
  4. You will be sent a password reset email within a few minutes. Be sure to check your spam and/or junk folders
  5. Follow the directions in the email to reset your password to a safe and secure password you will remember
  6. Log into the portal using this new password and your email

Once you have logged in, we encourage all members to familiarize themselves with the system. Check to ensure your information is correct, update your profile information which includes adding employment records and if you are registered with another health regulator or in another jurisdiction. If you are concerned your registration details and/or history is not accurate, contact memberportal@ABparamedics.com.

We have put together a “how to” guide to help you navigate through the portal. There is also an FAQ page on the website that can answer some questions you may have.

2021/2022 Continuing Competence Credits Entered Not Transferred Over

Due to the radically different technology between our old system and Alinity there was some data that could not be transferred over including credits entered for the 2021/2022 CC cycle.

Any activities entered this cycle are still valid; however, they will need to be re-entered in the new member portal. The previous member portal will remain active for members to view their old profile and it can be referenced when re-recording the credits earned this cycle into the new portal.

Note: At this time, the displaying of credits earned for all previous cycles are being addressed in another phase of the transfer process.

We are hopeful that the overall changes made to the member portal including the new form for entry of continuing competence activities will create an easier process moving forward.

Directions on how to enter credits are available in the guide linked above.

We appreciate your understanding and patience. If you have any questions or concerns, please email CC@ABparamedics.com.
